Reason For Using CBD

PREHEMPTIVE has been in the CBD game since 2015. That means we've had five years to listen to our customers far and wide and determine what they want (and need) to know about CBD. It turns out that people have a lot of questions.

We at PREHEMPTIVE believe education is one of the most significant components of implementing a healthy, balanced lifestyle. This means researching and understanding how your body interacts with everything you give it: Food, water, supplements, and CBD.

We wrote this short guide to provide that objective information about CBD: what it is, how it works, how to determine what's safe, and which product to buy, among many other essential questions.

#CBD is showing up everywhere and in everything today. But many still have questions about CBD, like what exactly is CBD, and where does it come from? What are its #benefits, and how do you know it's safe to consume? How will you know when it's working?

A Beginner's Guide To CBD

How does CBD #work? CBD primarily interacts with the body's #endocannabinoid system, a grouping of millions of cannabinoid receptors throughout your body but mainly clustered in the #brain and central #nervous #system. The endocannabinoid system maintains general health and wellness throughout the body.

While CBD is a phytocannabinoid (or plant-based cannabinoid), your body naturally produces cannabinoids, known as endocannabinoids. Almost every organ of your #body, including your skin and #digestive tract, contains cannabinoid receptors.

Welcome to your CBD for Beginners crash course, where PREHEMPTIVE answers all these questions.

What is CBD, and where does it come from? Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, is one of over 100+ naturally occurring cannabinoid compounds found in the #cannabis plant. There are two primary distinctions for cannabis: marijuana and #hemp. #Marijuana is generally regarded as cannabis with THC levels exceeding 0.3% by dry weight, while hemp contains less than 0.3% THC.

CBD is the second most prevalent cannabinoid in marijuana and the top non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp. It's been studied more in-depth recently as consumers have begun turning to it for its plentiful benefits for health and wellness.

CBD and other cannabinoids are extracted from the hemp plant's aerial parts, including the flower and leaves. The other parts of the plant, such as the stalk and seeds, lack cannabinoids but still contain other beneficial compounds like terpenes, flavonoids, #vitamins, trace minerals, #omega fatty acids, and more.

Unlike THC, CBD does not interact strongly with the two classical cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2). This is why CBD does not cause any #psychoactive effect.

Instead, CBD inhibits the enzymes that break down endocannabinoids, increasing your body's naturally produced cannabinoids. This increase even occurs in

our furry friends, making CBD useful for pets, too!

Will CBD cure my condition? Unfortunately, due to state and federal regulations, #PREHEMPTIVE and other CBD manufacturers cannot make disease claims about CBD. While a great deal of research has been conducted on hemp cannabinoids, there haven't been enough studies for specific conditions. We can say that CBD helps increase the health of the whole human organism. You can also do your research to find out more about whether CBD can support your specific needs. When getting targeted with CBD, one of the first questions is what kind of product to use and how much to take. To dive into this, let's explore the most common delivery methods available on the market:

CBD Oils Pros: Easy to customize and deliver even the most specific serving sizes Cons: Often has a robust and earthy flavor that some may find off-putting.

CBD Topicals Pros: Easy to target specific areas of the body, improves the appearance of the skin, comfortable application

.Cons: Some products are made with chemicals or preservatives. (Not ours)

CBD Soft Gels Pros: A consistent serving of CBD, easy to take on the go, offers a flavor-free delivery method. Cons: Often uses non-vegan gelatin soft gels, which may also be more challenging to digest.

How do I know it's safe? There has been a lot of recent public discussion about the safety of CBD. Many consumers fear that they can't trust CBD manufacturers and are afraid of harmful #ingredients or contaminants in their products. However, there are some ways to verify the safety of your CBD product before purchase.

The first thing to look for is third-party lab tests. Many CBD companies offer COAs. (Certificate Of Analysis) for their products, it's imperative to ensure testing has been completed and a third party generates reports.

A #trustworthy hemp supplier will also have certifications to back up their quality and won't have any problems being utterly transparent about their certifications and lab results.

How will I know it's working? One of the best ways to monitor your experience with CBD is to keep a daily use journal. Whenever you take CBD, we recommend jotting down the following in your phone or a notebook…

• Time of day • Type of product you're taking, the concentration of CBD, and any additional ingredients. . Serving sizes

Then, about an hour after you take it, write down anything you've noticed in your body. Even if you're not sure if it's related to CBD, write it down - you'll be able to refer back over time and identify any possible trends to clue you in to how CBD is affecting your body over the long term.

Due to state and federal regulations, we cannot state what CBD "feels" like when it's working. However, that leaves the power in your hands - you can determine the most effective regimen for you and adjust as needed to achieve your desired results.
