How much CBD should I be taking?
A simple question with a lot of possible answers!
The preferred serving size is unique to each person and related to their endocannabinoid system needs. Some people might need more hemp CBD than others, and it all depends on your condition, weight, and age.
Before starting a CBD treatment, you should always consult your medical physician to ensure CBD will complement your existing vitamin and supplement routine or whether CBD can interfere with any medications you're currently taking.
The Golden Rule: Start low and slow, and increase slowly until you find what dosage works for you! Prehemptive recommends starting with our lower CBD concentration (250mg CBD/30mL) with 15 drops a day, equal to 0.5 ml of CBD extract. This serving includes 4.2 mg of hemp cannabinoids with all the other goodness found in full-spectrum hemp extracts like terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, potassium, and omega fatty acids. Some days, you might need more CBD than your usual serving size, and some days, you will need less, as your condition is more manageable. Again, it all depends on your wellness state. We saw customers being happy with only five drops a day, and we have customers using 60 drops a day of our higher CBD concentration (1500mg/30mL) For example, people taking CBD for sleep or low-grade stress problems will only need 10 to 30 drops a day of CBD for their wellness treatment, and people with more severe conditions will take up to 120 drops a day. It's also more comfortable than ever to measure your serving of CBD with prehemptive's new graduated bottle droppers, displaying the unit of measurement directly on the dropper. Once you've identified the ideal serving of CBD that works for you, we usually recommend taking that serving twice a day for two weeks to get started. As you go, keep a journal and write down how you're feeling before and about 45 minutes after taking CBD. If you think you're not getting the desired effect, you can gradually increase your serving size by about five drops. If you're finding the dosage too strong, you'll need to decrease the serving size until finding the balance that works for you.
